Who we are

Indonesia Water Academy (IWA) is a leading center for developing competencies and enhancing management capabilities in the water supply system in Indonesia. Offering innovative programs supported by professional practitioners, IWA is committed to becoming a center of excellence for the water industry.

Who we serve

We work with regional water utilities (PDAMs), local government, non-governmental organisations and private water companies. Each has different constraints, so every program is shaped around the specific human resource, organisational and regional needs of the institution in front of us.
Practitioner-led

Our programs are delivered by experts with direct operational experience in water treatment, distribution and utility management. That means participants get guidance they can apply the following week, and answers grounded in what actually happens in the field.
Theory joined to practice

We combine interactive training sessions, case studies and field projects. Participants are expected not only to understand the concepts but to implement them in real operating conditions, which is the only measure of a program that matters.
Three services, one path

Capacity Building develops your people. Professional Consulting redesigns your processes. Technical Assistant puts an experienced practitioner alongside your team in the field. Most institutions begin with one and grow into the others.
